National Forest Week Tree Tour

at the RHCS kiosk

- September 25, 2016 - SUNDAY - 1pm

The Riverview Horticultural Centre Society invites you to an arborist led tree tour of a significant and beautiful part of the Lower Mainland's urban forest on the Riverview Lands.

The tour will leave at 1:00 PM from the RHCS kiosk on Pine Terrace south of Crease Clinic. Enter the site at the Colony Farm Road traffic light, follow Holly Drive until you reach Pine Terrace on the right.

  • Enter the site at the Colony Farm Road traffic light.
  • MEET at the Henry Esson Young Building (HEY)
  • Take Holly Drive through the hospital grounds, then go uphill on Oak Crescent,
    and the H.E.Y. building is on your right on Kalmia Drive.
  • Find parking, and meet at the front door.
  • see Maps


  • We go Rain or Shine
  • Walks & Tours are open to the Public and are FREE
  • You are welcome to join the society
  • or make a tax-deductible donation if you wish.
  • Treefest Walks are led by a volunteer arborist,
    or members of the society.
  • Walks last about 2 hours,depending on weather
    & walkers’ preference.
  • Dress for the weather, and wear comfy shoes or boots.
  • Children are always welcome. Dogs must be on ‘leash’.
